Below is a list of testing information for this year. There is also a list of sample tests that can be found on the Student Assistance Foundation website which can be reached by clicking on the link on the "Career Prep Info" page.
ACT

http://www.actstudent.org/regist/nextdates.html- dates for tests The ACT will be given at Plains High School Oct. 22, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. Registration must be completed by Sept. 16, 2011. The cost is $48 with the writing assessment. Late registration is until Sept 30, 2011 and will cost an extra $21.
SAT
Plains High School does not administer this test. Thompson Falls is the closest testing sight. The cost is $49, $22 for subject tests and the late fee is an extra $26.
ASVAB
Test will be held March 8, 2012 in Mr. Benson's room at 9:20 am
PSAT
The 2011 PSAT is sceduled for Oct. 12th in Mr. Bensons Room at 8:25 am.
-All high school students who took the 2010 PSAT/NMSQT will receive access to My College QuickStart, without charge. My College QuickStart is a personalized planning kit based on each individual student's test results. Students will have the opportunity to take the next steps toward college with these features:
An online score report, including projected SAT score ranges, state percentages, and the power to sort answer explanations by difficulty and question type. Beginning in mid-December, students will be able to access this exciting new tool by visiting www.collegeboard.com/psatextra, creating an online account, and entering the access code found on their official paper Score Report Plus.
