Welcome to Mr. Laws' 6th grade class website!

Here's a brief history of Mr. Laws. I'm a born and raised Montanan. I was raised in Thompson Falls and graduated from Thompson Falls High School. Class of 2012! Go Bluehawks! I can't cheer that now I guess. Go Horsemen and Trotters! My undergraduate education was earned at the University of Montana Western. Go Dawgs! I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in Literacy Education K-12.

After college, I accepted my first job teaching 6th grade in Plains. I have been teaching for 3 years, entering my 4th year. I have also been an assistant high school football coach (1 season), assisstant high school girls basketball coach (1 season), head coach Jr. High boys basketball (2 seasons), and assisstant/head coach of Jr. High track and field (2 seasons). 

I am happy to have your child in my class and I'm ecstatic to begin the year. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, normal operations at school will change. Please be understanding and kind as we navigate through these uncertain times together.
